Here I am sitting at my desk in Duck St working out how to do a blog. The lists grow longer and more scribbled as each day passes and 1st May (departure day) gets closer. We've spent a couple of days on Nomad washing, scrubbing, cleaning, polishing, fixing, shinning up the mast, provisioning and checking what was in all those lockers. The cry of "nothing's EVER easy....." was to be heard more than once drifting across Portsmouth Harbour. Meanwhile back in Duck St the garden is edged, mowed and weeded to within an inch of its life though we know we shall be met by a jungle on our return in July.
